The Idiot Gardener

WARNING: This site contains information on gardening, brewing, curing meat,

building shit and hunting, all done in a piss-poor manner. It is not suitable for the

feeble-minded, the weak and lame, those of a nervous disposition, vegans and

vegetarians (and those other ones that only eat fish and the occasional bacon

sandwich - I think they're called 'hypocrites'), those who practice any

manner of folk singing or dancing, people named Colin or fans of Barry Gibb.

Nature Versus Nurture

Here’s the killer question: are gardeners born with an ability to charm plants our of the dirt, or do they learn that ability from their peers? Can other gardeners and their crops have an influence on us? Are we affected by the allotment plots we happen to be put alongside? It’s a question of nature versus nurture, and Idiot Gardening does prove that one of the two has to be important. But which one? Enough questions for now; it’s time to invade Poland!
