The Idiot Gardener

WARNING: This site contains information on gardening, brewing, curing meat,

building shit and hunting, all done in a piss-poor manner. It is not suitable for the

feeble-minded, the weak and lame, those of a nervous disposition, vegans and

vegetarians (and those other ones that only eat fish and the occasional bacon

sandwich - I think they're called 'hypocrites'), those who practice any

manner of folk singing or dancing, people named Colin or fans of Barry Gibb.

The Soil Association

What’s in a name? Is it more important to understand what something is, rather than what it’s called? Sometimes, it’s possible for a diversity of organisations or associations – or any other entities – to hide behind a generic name, thereby giving the impression that all parts of the business are talking with one voice. In some cases that might be fine, but when it comes to the Soil Association, the process could arguably be manipulated to mislead!
